Artists

IVONNE
Ivonne is the owner and main artist at Heavenly Face Designs.  She has always enjoyed art in all its forms.  Special thanks to Crayola and Play-doh for sparking her interest in the arts and developing her artistic skills  :) As she grew older, drawing and painting definitly caught her interest, especially charcoal and water colors.  Her interest in Face Painting began by accident.  She volunteered to face paint at the Annandal Fall Festival a few years ago and began practicing on friends and family members.  While practicing at her cousins birthday party, a guest asked if she could paint at another party.  Ivonne said, "YES!" and thus began Heavenly Face Designs.  After a few months, she began balloon twisting and then added glitter tattoos to HFDs services




ALEXIS
Alexis was recruited when Ivonne was asked to do her very first gig and needed an assistant to help her out.  After she learned some simple balloon twisting and how to apply glitter tattoos, she became an official assistant/artist.  She helps out when there are big events and balloon twists or does glitter tattoos while Ivonne face paints.   She is currently learning how to face paint and is going to jams and conventions to improve on her technique.  The picture on the right was done by Mark Reid an international know and respected Artist who was teaching a group of us some new designs and techniques.  She was lucky enough to be chosen to get painted! Lucky dog, uh, I mean tiger! :)  Alexis will be attending VCU this fall and will only be available in the DC Area for larger events, BUT she WILL be available in the Richmond area for smaller parties.

JUAN
Juan is currently an apprentice in training for glitter tattoos.  He loves to draw and hopes to start face painting soon.  He also helps HFD whenever we do large festivals by being our line manager.
